Coca-Cola is actively implementing AI

Coca-Cola is betting on artificial intelligence to help it grow. The world’s most famous beverage company has signed a five-year partnership with Microsoft to streamline the workplace, manage expenses, and improve overall productivity, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The deal is valued at $1.1 billion.

Under the agreement, Coca-Cola will migrate all of its applications to Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform.

Coca-Cola said it is exploring the use of AI-powered digital assistants on the Azure platform to help employees improve customer service and improve efficiency.

The company said its latest AI investment is part of its drive to “reimagine” how it markets and meets manufacturing and supply chain needs. The latest AI investment is also a significant increase from the $250 million it spent in 2020.

Some of Coca-Cola’s biggest competitors, such as RedBull and Pepsi Co., are already using artificial intelligence to measure customer engagement.
